PTZ Cameras

4K60 and Full HD PTZ cameras with AI tracking, NDI, SDI and PoE.

A PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera is a remotely controlled camera that one operator can aim, zoom and recall to saved positions, making it the backbone of modern live streaming, worship, lecture capture and broadcast production.

The Veyra range covers every budget and room size: true 4K60 flagships with 30× optical zoom for long throws, 4K30 and 1080p60 workhorses with 12× and 20× zoom, compact mini PTZ cameras and wireless models. Most send video over NDI|HX, 3G-SDI, HDMI and USB at the same time, take power and control over a single PoE network cable, and include AI auto tracking that follows a presenter without an operator.

Frequently asked questions

What zoom do I need for a PTZ camera?
Match the zoom to the distance between the camera and the subject. For a head-and-shoulders shot from 10 m, 12× is usually enough; from 15–25 m, choose 20×; for 25 m and beyond, such as the back of a large church or arena, choose 30×.
What is the difference between NDI|HX2 and NDI|HX3?
Both send video, audio, control and tally over a standard network. NDI|HX3 uses more efficient compression for higher picture quality and lower latency at similar bandwidth, which suits 4K60 and multi-camera productions. NDI|HX2 is ideal for Full HD systems.
Can one cable power and control a PTZ camera?
Yes. Veyra cameras with PoE or PoE+ receive power, control and NDI video over one network cable from a PoE switch such as the Nexel P8.
Do VIDIKOM PTZ cameras work with OBS, vMix and Zoom?
Yes. Use the USB 3.0 output for plug-and-play UVC capture in Zoom, Teams and OBS, NDI|HX for vMix, OBS and other NDI software, or HDMI and 3G-SDI into hardware switchers.
