Church live streaming equipment
Church live streaming equipment: long-zoom PTZ cameras, the Talvo Mix 4 switcher, a joystick controller and PoE. Stream services to YouTube and Facebook.
Live streaming lets your church reach members who can't attend in person, share sermons worldwide and grow your online congregation. A reliable system needs cameras that can zoom in on the pulpit from the back of the auditorium, a switcher to mix camera angles and stream, and simple controls a volunteer can operate.
VIDIKOM PTZ cameras are mounted once on a riser, wall or balcony and operated remotely, so no camera operator stands in the aisle. A Talvo controller recalls saved shots of the pulpit, choir and congregation at the press of a button, and the Talvo Mix 4 switches between cameras and streams directly to YouTube and Facebook without a computer.

How to set it up
- Place a long-zoom PTZ camera at the back for the preacher close-up (20× zoom up to about 25 m, 30× beyond).
- Add a second camera for a wide shot of the stage and a third for the choir, band or congregation.
- Run one PoE network cable to each camera for power and control, plus SDI or NDI for video.
- Connect the cameras to the Talvo Mix 4, feed in audio from your sound desk, and stream to YouTube and Facebook.
- Save presets on the joystick controller so volunteers can switch shots with one button.
Frequently asked questions
- How many cameras does a church livestream need?
- Most churches start with two or three: a close-up of the preacher, a wide shot of the stage and a third angle for the choir, band or congregation. One camera with presets can work for small churches.
- What is the best camera for church live streaming?
- A PTZ camera with 20× to 30× optical zoom and NDI or SDI output, such as the Veyra 20S Ultra-U or a 30× Veyra Pro HD-N, gives a sharp close-up from the back of the hall and can be controlled remotely by one volunteer.
- Can we stream to YouTube and Facebook at the same time?
- Yes. The Talvo Mix 4 streams directly over RTMP or SRT and can dual-stream to two platforms at once, such as YouTube and Facebook, without a computer.
- Can VIDIKOM design a setup for our church?
- Yes. Upload a photo of your church to VIDIKOM AI and it will recommend cameras with reasons, mark where to place them and produce a wiring diagram and quote. Our team can also visit for a site survey.
